Sunny Place Resort is located in the serene and peaceful area of Doroufi (Δορούφι), just two kilometers away from the historical village of Kilada (Κοιλάδα). Here one can enjoy a sunny and quiet place away from the noise of the cities. The only sounds here are the splashing of the waves from the sea, which is just at 100 meters away, and the rustling of the tree leaves. The sea is crystal clear and many of the nearby beaches have been awarded a Blue Flag. There are also innumerable gorgeous bays with green and blue waters in the area around us. These bays can be reached by walking, driving or by boat. The interior spaces of our rooms are brand new so as to offer our guests a comfortable, pleasant and luxurious stay. Sea and poolside view is available from all of our rooms. The pool offers our guests the opportunity for a relaxing swim in a lush green landscape while also enjoying a sea view. The tennis and basketball court which are included in our facilities allow you to enjoy your vacations without missing out on your sports or workouts. Porto Heli (Πόρτο Χέλι) is only 8km away and Ermioni (Ερμιόνη) is at 14km. The magical islands of Spetses (Σπέτσες), Ydra (Ύδρα), and Poros (Πόρος) which are located in the region, are easily accessible from Sunny Place Resort. The Ancient Theatre of Epidavros (Επίδαυρος) is at a distance of 40km, Nafplio (Ναύπλιο) is at 60km and Argos (Άργος) and Mycenae (Μυκήνες) are 80km away. The archeological site of the Franchthi Cave (Σπήλαιο Φράγχθι) is located in the area of Kilada, which was inhabited by mankind in its very early stages around 40.000B.C. The site is accessible by boat or by walking there from Paralia Fournon (Παραλία Φούρνων). It is in this site that the earliest buried human skeleton in Europe had been found after excavations. A guided tour from an archaeologist is possible. The cave is surrounded by sea in which 2 cities were found which were inhabited by those that had exited the cave. These cities date at around 3.000 to 6.000b.c. and there is also the possibility of underwater tour. A trip to Sunny Place is sure to bring peace in you.
