About

80Winery was established in 2017 by brothers Christos and Panagiotis Bakalis from the ground up. Our mission is to produce high-quality wines that showcase the unique geographic and flavor heritage of our region. Nestled at the foothills of Mount Chortiatis, alongside the Droupalia tributary, the winery is located on the estate where our family planted its first vineyard back in 1933. Drawing on the knowledge and experience gained from our initial amateur involvement in viticulture and winemaking, as well as our later extensive studies in this field, we focus on crafting selected wines with a Protected Geographical Indication (P.G.I.), utilizing appropriate winemaking processes. Our goal is to highlight local grape varieties and the distinctive characteristics of our region's soils. With dedication and passion, we are committed to offering wines that reflect the quality and richness of the Greek land, creating flavors that beautifully blend tradition with modern winemaking techniques.
