The castle is located 1.5 km north of Meteora Park-Diava, opposite Kalambaka. At an altitude of 450 meters and in a rustic state the ancient fortress, observatory was constructed by boulders, many of them exceeding 2 meters in length. Perhaps it belonged to the ancient town of Faloria. The Pelasgian castle was built 4,500 years ago. The view is amazing and reaches 60km away to Olympus
