Myrties Stone Houses

About

"Myrties" is a complex of stone-built houses situated on the large farmland of the Logothetis family. It is 500 meters distant from the eastern coast of Vassilikos and 1200 meters from the beach of "Gerakas" (within the National Marine Park) reknown for the reproduction of the sea turtles "Caretta-Caretta". On entering the complex there is the old farmhouse, built in 1911, recently renovated maintaining its old style. Further eastwards, two new buildings, made of stone from the mountains of Zakynthos, comprise four two-storey maisonettes, with a beautiful view of the sea and farmland from their large verandas for pleasure and relaxation.
