We are a small family winery dedicated to the production of wine exclusively from black currants. The history of our winery began with the planting of 3 hectares of black currants in 2003. Our wine matures in cellars carved into the hard sand near the village of Želovce, the origin of which dates back to the early Middle Ages. We produce only a limited number of bottles of each type each year in order to maintain a constant product quality. The beginnings of blackcurrant wine production in the village of Želovce go back to the times of the county of the Zichy family, who built a baroque mansion here in 1772. Blackcurrant wine was made here and used to treat the countess's anemia. By gradually improving over a period of 20 years, we have compiled a set of our own recipes for the production of several types of this fantastic drink. These recipes are our family jewel.
