Gellert Escape
About
Gellert Escape is Budapest’s newest and most advanced escape‑room venue, located in the historic Gellért Square of the 11th district. The venue offers four distinct rooms – Death Row, Imprisoned in Mexico, Ski House 51 and the Great Museum Heist – each combining immersive storytelling, cutting‑edge technology and challenging puzzles. All rooms play in both Hungarian and English, making them accessible for local and international guests alike. Teams of up to 24 people can also experience specially designed group content, ideal for team‑building exercises and school trips. Players can expect a 60‑minute adventure in each room, with difficulty levels ranging from moderate to challenging (4/5–5/5). Pricing is calculated per person, with rates descending as group size increases – the lowest per‑person fee is 3,900 HUF for groups of five or six in the Imprisoned in Mexico room. A flexible booking system allows visitors to reserve online or through the official booking page; all tickets must be booked in advance, especially during peak periods. Open daily from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM, the venue welcomes guests from Monday (closed) through Sunday. Whether you’re a puzzle enthusiast, a corporate team looking for a unique bonding experience, or a family searching for an engaging outing, Gellert Escape delivers an unforgettable, interactive adventure in the heart of Budapest.
