About

The Sport Pub bears the name of the greatest Hungarian football player of all time: Ferenc Puskas (known to Hungarians as "Ocsi bacsi"). His memorabilia and photos on the walls, along with the real, prime cowhide covered floor creates an atmosphere that cannot be compared to anything else. It's "Pancho" because everyone used to call him like that in Spain... This is the place where the day starts in Symbol: the Sport Pub opens at 7:30am, where you can choose from a daily menu every Monday to Friday, or from a selection of Puskas' favourite Hungarian and Spanish courses. There is also a number of beers, coffees and other beverages to choose from while one of the 12 Hungarian and international sport channels (Sport 1-2, SportKlub, Eurosport, Eurosport 2, Digi Sport 1-2, Sky Sports 1-2-3-4, ESPN) will be airing the current favourite match. To ensure the quality we have 12 flat screen TVs in the Pub. If the weather is nice enough the Pub expands with a compelling terrace where we can even turn on the cooling humidifiers should it be too hot... In the Pub you can also purchase Puskas memorabilia (mugs, T-shirts etc.), Which makes it a true "place of pilgrimage" among the fans of the late sportsman. Why Pancho? One explanation says because "pancho" in spanish means "plump", thus it's referring nicely to Puskas' pot-belly. According to another theory, Pancho is nickname for "Ferenc" or "Francisco" in argentinian spanish. In spanish it's "Paco", in argentinian it's "Pancho".
