The impressive Castle in Alsópetény has been one of the few fortunate noble residences in the county of Nógrád to see revival. As a result, today the antique-furnished rooms of the restored Big Castle might serve as excellent event venues whereas the Small Castle, retaining its original function, provides representative accommodation. The new, modern buildings of the Guesthouse and Bathhouse await its guests with an elegant yet cosy atmosphere.For reconstructing and protecting the Castle as Hungary's built heritage, the owner, Dr. József Molnár has been given the Podmaniczky Award.The Wine-cellar under the Big Castle, the conference room worked up in the monumental section of the Manor House and the charming park all offer further locations for both corporate and private events.
