Folly Arboretum and Winery

The Folly Arboretum is a unique botanic garden in Badacsony, with panoramic view to Lake Balaton and with 120-year history. It is far more than a collection of cedars and cypresses, but a place to taste Folly wine and food, and to enjoy several outdoor activites. The foundation of the winery is directly linked to our great-great-great-grandfather. True to the traditions of the Badacsony Wine Region we mainly deal with white wines, focusing especially on characteristic, local sorts such as Pinot Gris, Muscat Ottonel, Budai Green or Welshriesling. We are very proud of Cédrus – a Welshriesling and Pinot Gris cuvée which is gently fruity and smart at the same time. The arboretum can be visited all year round.
