For a long time, we have had the idea of creating a novel place on the southern shore of Lake Balaton that people visit with pleasure in order to recharge after a long day or week. Bringing our foreign experiences back home, we realised our idea and opened the Kistehén Burger Restaurant in 2018. We were aiming at establishing a cosy place of high standard that is able to function in the long term and enlivens the life of both locals and visitors. When opening Kistehén, our motivation was to provide services we also expect from a restaurant. Beyond the friendly and homely atmosphere, the restaurant is characterised by the wine assortment of the Balaton region and the patty made from Austrian beef. We hope that Kistehén will become a popular place for romantic dinners, as well as family lunches, and joyful friends’ gatherings.
