Farmotel Stefania is located on the way to Slovenian and Croatian Adriatic sea coast, between hills, forests and lakes, close to Gemence natural reserve and Gyulaj hunting park, in one of Hungary’s most prestigious wine regions. Where calmness and colorful surroundings takes your breath away. And yet, it’s just a minute walk from the local grocery store. Or a short drive from several famed thermal spas and swimming pools. Feeling like being a farmer for a day? Don’t forget to harvest fruits, vegetables and herbs from Farmotel Stefania’s bio-garden, grown without chemicals. Enjoy the landscape near our fish pond or from our forest hill. Relax in romantic Forest House with small museum and open fireplace, where you can grill and cook. Check the traditional peasant wine cellars with variety of local red and white wine. Breakfast and other meals are available upon request at any time convenient for you. At the end of the day — or just when you feel like it — relax in sauna, conveniently attached to the spacious farm house with extra room to rest. We use eco-friendly sun energy for heating and warm water. Artists can use the huge space on the first floor, with a view on the pond and forest, as a creative studio. FARMOTEL STEFANIA is a member of SLOW FOOD organization. We offer our guests indigenous homemade food prepared old fashioned way, slowly and tasty, from natural products. Guests can experience old slow cooking recipes, which are forgotten and which we are reviving. We are against industrially processed, fast food and would like to show that slow food is affordable for everybody, including busy people in the cities.
