Veszprémfest, Hungary is a contemporary music and cultural festival taking place annually in mid July. The festival is celebrating its’ 20th anniversary in 2023. The performing artists represent a variety of genres from pop, jazz, soul through to r&b, reggae, and even classical music.The extraordinary historic outdoor surroundings provide a very special atmosphere to the venues. There are four major stages including the beautiful Historia Garden, which was the summer residency of the city's bishop 200 years ago, Trinity square of the castle area, the nearly 300-year-old Jesuit church as well as the local arena. Over the past years international artists on stage included Tom Jones, Diana Krall, Katie Melua, Joss Stone, Emeli Sandé, Jamie Cullum, Lisa Stansfield, Caro Emerald, Aloe Blacc, Gregory Porter, Roger Hodgson, Kool & the Gang, Amy Macdonald, Ziggy Marley, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Craig David, Youssou Ndour, Vaya Con Dios, George Benson, Marcus Miller, Al DiMeola, Paco De Lucía, Herbie Hancock, Chick Corea, Orquesta Buena Vista Social Club ft.
