AK Hestaferðir EHF offer short riding tours. You can see the ocean,mountains and beautiful landscape while riding our wonderful Icelandic horses. AK Hestaferdir EHF is run by our family who are also the owners. Ester Anna, Auðbjörn, Anna Kristín. and the youngest Auður Karen. So you maybe figure it out why the name AK Our farm is Gásir only 10 km away from Akureyri. On the farm we have few dogs and cat’s and than our own horses, breeding mare’s,stallions, youngsters and riding horses + the rental horses. So total number of horses we own are around 140+~ We just started our horse rental the 16th of September 2022 we bought the horses and equipment from our neighbours at Skjaldarvík who now has closed their horse rental. Our horses are used to walking in row, with children from 7 and up to grownups age of 90. In every ride we stop and our guides offer to take pictures of our guests with their own phone if they want us to. So we welcome you to our farm Gásir
