Come ride with us at Hestaland! You'll feel the natural high for yourself and see what keeps horse lovers returning to the Icelandic countryside summer after summer. Hestaland is an equine training station, breeding farm, and riding tour operation situated on a farm called Staðarhús. We’re located in West Iceland, 15 minutes from Borgarnes and 1 mile (1.5 km) off of Route 1. We offer 90-minute trail rides and half-day tours, which include a light lunch. Read about our multi-day, loose-herd tours (treks) on our website. Those who aren't ready to ride can join us for an informative farm visit. You'll meet the Icelandic horse in person and learn what makes the Icelandic horse such a special breed.
