Welcome to the Höfði Cottages! We offer three cosy cottages in a stunning location in Dalvik, surrounded by the Svarfadardalur Nature Reserve, a sanctuary for birdwatching. This is the place where whale watching excursions and great hiking trails start. 3 cottages are waiting for you: Litli, our “Small Guy" that fits 2 people; Elsti, “The Oldest”, a cottage with sleeping places for up to 7 people; and finally Hàr, “The Highest”, a summerhouse that has wheelchair facilities and can accomodate up to 5 people. In front of each cottage there is a nice terrace with hot tub and barbecue, plus a sauna that can be used by all the guests. Several walking trails start from this area, a lot of them are connected to the birdwatching activity in the natural reserve. The cottages are a 5 minutes drive from the local skiing area and 10 walking minutes from the Dalvik city center. Activities available close by: hiking, horse trips, skiing, whale watching, bird watching, swimming pool, golf.
