Want to travel back in time? At Keldur you can experience how Icelanders lived in the past. For centuries, turf houses were the homes of the majority of Icelanders. The turf farm at Keldur is an excellent example of old Icelandic architecture, that blends seamlessly into the natural landscape. The farm is one of the largest turf farms in south Iceland. Book your visit into the past and discover Icelandic history. Open daily from June 1st - August 30th from 10:00-17:00. Guided tours is every day at 11.00 and 15.00. The Tour is included in the ticket price. But guests can come by during opening hours and our staff will show you inside the old turf farm as soon as possible.
