Midgard Restaurant serves Nordic food inspired by travel, both in Iceland and around the world. Expect freshly caught fish from the South Coast, pasture-raised Icelandic lamb and tasty plant-based dishes with potatoes from our neighboring town Þykkvabær and locally grown herbs. We truly focus on offering produce from our local community and dishes made very much from scratch. Midgard is a local’s favorite, but it’s not just about the food, the vibe is inviting, cheerful and laid-back. It’s the ultimate spot to gather with new and old friends and to toast with local craft beers and our Midgard cocktails to new memories.
