The Korpudalur Hostel in Iceland is located innermost in Önundarfjördur surrounded by high mountains, 17 km from Isafjördur and 12 km from Flateyri. Around the Hostel there are many possibilities for hiking, climbing and angling in the wild nature. A 15 km mountain hiking trail lies through Korpudalur and Alftafjardarheidi, an old traditional route. For birdwatchers, thousands of seabirds, sparrows, ducks and even eagles can be seen. At Isafjördur and Flateyri you can find activities such as swimming, hot pots, kayaking and golf. Scheduled boat trips on Isafjardardjup - to Vigur and Hornstrandir - can also be attempted.
