Guesthouse 1x6 is a small family-run boutique Bed & Breakfast overlooking the ocean. It is a place where unique, artsy and rustic-chic design meets one of a kind hospitality. Its location is only a few minutes from Keflavik International Airport, yet very quiet, and it is perfect for the beginning or end of your Iceland journey. 1x6 is the size in inches of the timber used to create the unique interior by Daníel Hjörtur Sigmundsson, a local wood artist. International artists in residency have contributed to the design of our guesthouse. Come as a guest, leave as a friend. We are the owners Yuki & Andi – a binational couple from Japan and Switzerland – and we take pride in the personal care and attention of our guests as well as attention to the details of your stay at our guesthouse. You are invited to enjoy probably the best coffee in Iceland, and a home-made, organic deluxe breakfast. In the evening, soak in our stunning geothermal hot bath. 6 rooms only. Airport Transfers.
