DisDis is an Icelandic fashion store on the main shopping street down town that opened in mid Aug '18. The Owner Disa Gudmunds is available at the store for your assistance. DisDis focuses on timeless styles and high quality for the independent women of today’s world with so many roles. Everything is handmade and curated with the environment in mind for the collection. Basket bags are woven from recycled plastic by women in India that can't participate in the working place, so they weave from their homes. Fabric is from surplus, leather is bought from international leather fairs after its been showcased from tanneries that are mostly from Italy. DisDis has a bag line with leather that has been geographically landmark/identified. Only old methods of tanning and no chemicals are used in the process. Clothes are made in Iceland and in Pondicherry, India. Where DisDis has a stitching studio with Western standards and working hours. DisDis offers repairs and custom made as well.
