Inside The Volcano offers a once‑in‑a‑lifetime adventure that takes guests deep into the heart of Iceland’s dormant Thrihnukagigur volcano. Guided by experienced mountaineers, visitors board a cable lift and descend 120 m (400 ft) into a breathtaking lava chamber that is the world’s only accessible magma chamber. The tour includes a 3 km (2‑mile) hike, a 7‑minute lift ride, roughly 30 min of exploration inside the chamber, and a complimentary Icelandic lamb soup and drinks at Base Camp.
