Sumac Grill + Drinks
About
The restaurant is named after Sumac, a deep red berry that grows along the Mediterranean coast and throughout the middle east. The smell of our coal grill will greet you as soon as you enter, where we cook a mixture of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. We are also gluten-free, dairy-free and vegan friendly. Our menu can be described as a narration of pristine, Icelandic seasonal ingredients, submersed in exotic spices influenced by mediterranean and Middle-eastern flairs. This is Icelandic cuisine with luscious and inspiring influences mainly from Lebanon and Morocco, while the bar includes wines and spirits from Lebanon, Morocco, new world and old-world wines including organic options, plus our specially house-made concoctions and classic cocktails. The interior of the restaurant, with a large bar and open kitchen, is a designer restaurant that creates the perfect atmosphere for an adventurous night out. The industrial tile and concrete walls meet light leather booths and perfectly lit lamps, while green plants and large windows lighten and freshen the vaulted ceiling and garden rooms.
