Oakwood B&B is a short 2 minute walk into the attractive village of Ballydehob offering pubs, shops, cafes and restaurants for all tastes. At Oakwood B&B we offer large en-suite bedrooms & private parking surrounded by 1.5 Acres of gardens. This property makes the best possible use of its position from which it enjoys spectacular views over the surrounding countryside. The house stands on 1.5 Acres of mature landscaped gardens with stunning panoramic views. We are situated in a central position right in the heart of the attractive West Cork village of Ballydehob. Ballydehob is a unique coastal village in the middle of West Cork and has gained world-wide recognition as a centre of excellence in arts and crafts. In the village there's everything you could possible need including shops, pubs, playground, sport clubs and restaurants. There are a number of coves and sandy beaches nearby providing access to Roaringwater Bay, the islands and the ocean. Near-by Schull is an attractive seaside market town with a sheltered harbour popular amongst those interested in all types of water sports and sailing. Ballydehob is within easy driving distance of the Mizen, Sheep's Head and Beara, with scenic walking along dramatic cliff tops. There are regular ferries to the islands of Sherkin and Cape Clear from Baltimore and Schull. The towns of Skibbereen and Bantry are all within a fifteen minute drive. And finally, for those who like to take it easy, an abundance of good food in cafes and pubs throughout the area. Ballydehob is just over one hour from Cork City and only a few minutes' drive to Schull, Skibbereen and Bantry with all their excellent amenities.
