Winner of the Best Music Pub in Ireland 2022/2023. The Porter House is a traditional, charming and characterful pub. It has a cosy décor that adds to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. It boasts a superb location in the heart of Westport town on the main shopping and entertainment thoroughfare and has a heated beer garden at the rear of the premises. The team are known for their professionalism and warm welcome which allows all customers to feel included and at home. If there is such a thing as an Irish pub, you can’t get much more authentic than this! Yet the Porter House remains unpretentious and offers the best live music 7 nights a week. There are two live music sessions daily at 6.30pm and 9.30pm and a third afternoon session is added in the summer months. Both local and visiting musicians are welcomed to the Porter House and invited to join in on the music and the craic.
