Riverside House is a 200 year old Georgian building on the banks of the Black Oak River in Newport. It has un-spoilt views of the river and is a stone's throw, a 5 minute stroll from Newport village where you'll find various local amenities including restaurants and pubs and only a 10 minute drive to Westport. We offer a choice of 4 rooms: 'Blue Room' King bed with en-suite. West Wing of the house. 'Green Room' King and Single bed with en-suite. West Wing of the house. 'Shepherd's Hut' Double bed with private bathroom. Glamping on the river's edge. 'Stables' Custom made bunk style Double bed with en-suite. Converted coach house with wood burning stove. We are ideally situated for anyone that wants to ditch the car and walk, cycle or paddle in the great outdoors to discover the Western Greenway, Wild Atlantic Way, Achill Island, Ballycroy National Park or climb Croagh Patrick.
