Hesters Golden Eagle Bar & Restaurant is one of the most comfortable and popular hostelries west of the Shannon situated right in the centre of Irelands Hidden Heartlands. The family run bar and restaurant was opened in 1966 by Frank and Marie Hester and is now owned and managed by their son and daughter, Ollie and Breege. It is located right in the heart of Castlerea and has a well established reputation for fine food, value for money and a warm and welcoming service. Food is served 9am to 9pm , Monday to Saturday and 12 to 6pm on Sunday. It is the ideal venue for get-togethers of all sizes and they offer complimentary finger food on a night out for large get-togethers or parties such as birthday parties, Christmas parties, christenings, stag and hen nights, or simply a family get together! Or why not book a table in the restaurant for their evening menu or call to discuss a personalised menu for your special occasion to suit your needs or pocket !!
