Connemara National Park, located in County Galway, Ireland, spans 2,000 hectares of rugged mountains, blanket bogs, heathlands, and ancient woodlands. Visitors can explore the famed Twelve Bens mountain range, with Benbaun the highest peak at 725 m, as well as the picturesque Diamond Hill, which offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks and Kylemore Abbey. The park’s visitor centre, situated near Letterfrack village, provides interactive exhibitions, audio tours, and meeting spaces, and is open from 9 am to 5:30 pm year‑round. Entry to the park and visitor centre is free, and there is no charge for parking.
