The Courtyard at Kilshannig is situated in wonderful parkland surroundings on a private stud farm located within a 25-minute drive from Cork airport, 90 minutes from Shannon airport & two and a half hours from Dublin airport. The Courtyard is attached to Kilshannig House, a beautiful Palladian residence that was once the family home of the Spenser family, the direct ancestors of Princess Diana. Kilshannig is considered one of Ireland's most beautiful & architecturally important houses. The Courtyard at Kilshannig formed part of the main house and was the original staff accommodation and kitchens where all the food preparation, meals and baking was carried out. It has been tastefully restored to a very high-quality finish. In the spirit of the tradition of Kilshannig’s history of entertainment and house parties, the owner now makes the courtyard wing available to house parties, holiday groups and wedding groups. The courtyard wing can accommodate between 25 and 45 people, and each room has a private bathroom. Guests have full use of the Courtyard and parkland walks or can relax in the court gardens. Other things to note Kilshannig House has a beautiful championship-size astroturf tennis court for all the guests to enjoy.
