The Market House Restaurant, located at The Abbey Hotel in the heart of Donegal Town, features an outstanding selection of menus showcasing the finest local ingredients from land and sea. Our team offer an authentic, warm Donegal welcome, provide true Irish hospitality and place a strong emphasis on superior customer service. Our menus are inspired by the abundance of fresh locally grown and farmed foods and our extensive coastline along the Wild Atlantic Way. We are widely known for our Steak on the Stone Experience using 100% locally sourced beef renowned for flavour, tenderness and quality. Our Wild Atlantic Seafood Specials are available nightly, changing according to the season and the catches of the local fishermen. Evening Dining Experience begins at 6pm and Lunch is served from 12pm-3pm in The Food Hall at The Market House. Sunday Carvery Lunch with Starter and Dessert Buffets is served every Sunday from 12.30pm until 3pm.
