About

Guinness Storehouse – located at St. James’s Gate in the heart of Dublin – is the world’s most famous beer museum and a museum of the entire Guinness brand. Spanning seven floors shaped like a pint of Guinness, the attraction offers visitors a guided tour through the key stages of brewing, a behind‑the‑scenes look at historical machinery and artefacts, and interactive experiences such as the right‑operator’s knowledge‑based HBAR (High‑Bar) with a free pint on entry. The highlight is the Gravity Bar on the top floor, a glass‑roofed viewing platform that provides a 360° panorama of Dublin and includes a complimentary pint as part of the admission. The museum also hosts special events like the Guinness Academy, the STOUTie selfie pint, and the Connoisseur tasting experience, all available through the site’s easy online booking system. The walk-through tour lasts about an hour and a half, with optional extensions for the STOUTie or Academy (another 30 minutes each) and the Connoisseur Experience (approximately 1 hour 15 minutes). There are free wheelchair-accessible lifts for all floors, as well as a dedicated information desk to help guests with mobility needs. The storehouse is open 365 days a year, except for a few designated days for major events or maintenance, making it an ideal day‑trip destination in any season.
