The Merry Cobbler is first and foremost a friendly pub where you can grab a bite to eat and something to drink. Upon taking over the historic premises major refurbishment was carried out transforming it into the warm and welcoming pub that it is today, complete with an open fire and cosy snug areas. It’s a real family affair (brother/sister/dad) with almost 60 years’ experience combined in the pub business. For a nice coffee, a relaxing pint, a glass of delicious wine, or a nightcap at the end of a long day, our welcoming bar is just the place. There’s a great range of craft beers, wines from our award-winning wine list, and spirits – and you can order food from the same menu that’s on offer in our restaurant. There’s no cosier place to be on a cold day than our traditional bar with its roaring fire.
