Leading Irish goldsmith Garrett Mallon has his jewellery workshop in Garrett Mallon Design House in the medieval village of Carlingford on Ireland's Ancient East trail. In addition to his own open to view workshop and jewellery collection Garrett has a curated showcase of some of the leading design led craft from across the island of Ireland. Every item within the Design House is handmade on the island of Ireland and you can learn a little about the makers and their work during your visit. Shortlisted as one of the leading independent retail outlets in 2019 it is a must visit for anyone interested in craft.
