Brendan (chef owner) set up The Spotted Dog Restaurant in Dec 2017. His love of food was taken from his mother Sue, and the restaurant derives its name from Brendan’s first efforts at baking, which was to make the traditional “Spotted Dog”.We pride ourselves on our food and service, and we use mainly locally sourced produce throughout our menu, some of it even from our own garden! As well as supporting local businesses and suppliers we provide our customers with a relaxed comfortable and welcoming atmosphere and an excellent dining experience. We provide a wide range of menu options catering to vegetarians & vegans as well as several gluten free options, serving brunch, lunch & dinner in a cosy modern style restaurant & outdoor heated/ sheltered courtyard area.
