Market Place was opened in November 2011 in Mitchelstown, Co. Cork. John O Connor who has worked in the catering industry all his life opened Market Place. John is from Mitchelstown originally and studied Hotel & Catering Management in third level. Having worked in Hotels, Bars and Restaurants throughout Cork and Limerick for many years john decided to take the plunge and open his own Restaurant in his home town.The Restaurant has gone from strength to strength since opening always offering something new and fresh to the locality. With a wide selection of fresh fish, vegetables and meats to cater for everybody’s tastes. We offer a wide range of Evening Specials along with Cocktails & Craft Beers.
