One of the youngest Cathedrals in Europe, built of local lime stone between 1958 and August 1965; , beautiful stained glass windows; beautiful mosaics (JFK and Padraig Pearse!); floor of Connemara marble, also wall slabs; altar slab made of Carrara marble (Italy). Barrel-vault (coffered) ceiling made of red cedar-wood from American Pacific coast, pews made of Utile-wood from W.-Africa.
