Under New Management since April 2018, Massimo is at the beating heart of Galway's West End. Named after a hamster, Massimo opened its doors in 2001. Unfortunately the hamster is no longer with us but the bar is bigger and brighter than ever. Seven large screen TVs throughout the venue show all the sports you want to see and by night, Massimo comes alive with bars that serve late Thursday, Friday and Saturday with DJs, dancing and cocktails. You'll also find great live music there on Sundays. They serve a wide range of local and craft beers. Bar Manager Ken's carefully curated whiskey and gin collections are about quality rather than quantity and the wine list is worth the visit to the bar alone. This is where a generation of Galway's finest have met up to drink and dance, join us to catch up with friends and dance til late.
