Nestled in the Wicklow Mountains, this spacious cottage is situated in a quiet and peaceful location, just a few minutes drive from the picturesque village of Aughrim. Originally the local grocery store it has been converted into a bright and spacious cottage. Free unlimited Wi-Fi is available, also a Smart TV with Netflix and You Tube. The home is fully-equipped and tastefully decorated. The addition of a children's activity centre in the garden ensures all of the family are catered for. There are lovely seating areas outdoors whilst a real log fire makes for a cosy night in. The surrounding countryside allows guests to enjoy the peace and quiet of country life, while all the amenities required are available within easy reach in the nearby towns and villages. The local villages of Aughrim (a previous National winner of theTidy Town's competition) and Tinahely have a choice of shops, pubs and coffee shops. Tinahely's Courthouse Arts Centre is the venue for many exhibitions, musical and drama performances. Located midway between Dublin and Rosslare, Askanagap is central to a wide range of family activities making it the ideal base for exploring Ireland's Ancient East. Wicklow, known as 'The Garden County' has an abundance of interesting things to do and places to visit while Dublin is just over an hour away by car or train from Arklow.
