Caragh River Lodge is a friendly, family run Bed & Breakfast situated on the foot of Carrauntoohill, Ireland's highest mountain. Situated in the Bridia Valley you are surrounded by mountains you can almost touch.Caragh River Lodge is a fantastic base for all outdoor activities, fishing, walking, landscape painting, cycling or just relax and switch off. We are a short drive away from the famous Ring of Kerry, a stunning coastal and countryside drive that forms one of the most scenic sections of the Wild Atlantic Way. Taking in Valentia Island and the Skelligs Island (a UNESCORTED world heritage site). The Kerry Way is a short 1km hike from Caragh River Lodge. We provide bicycles for hire and use for the day, and have some beautiful cycles close by. All our rooms are ensuite and luxuriously appointed with tea/ coffee making facilities.
