Kenmare Eco Lodge is a privately run boutique Bed & Breakfast located in wild nature in a deeply peaceful river valley ten minutes drive from Kenmare, one of Ireland’s prettiest heritage towns. Breakfast on wholefoods/organic local artisa produce. Rooms - King Size, Triple with bathroom alongside and a Double Room. + Guest Sitting Room. Rooms are well sized with natural light and furnishings and hill views.Parking + lane walks. Built 2007 of natural, ecological materials - hemp, lime and wood + recycled slates + geothermal heating system. Only hemp build in S. Irl open to guests. The Location: Kenmare 5.4 klms away is a heritage and gourmet foodies town with the feel of a village. By far the best location from which to explore killarney national park. But Beara peninsula - the most remote stunning, unspoiled natural landscapes in the country is right here. Kenmare is on the sheltered, wooded bay. Kenmare Eco Lodge and Kenmare town are both very peaceful and exclusively small.
