Located in the small rural village of Riverstown in County Sligo, Sligo Folk Park offers an enjoyable trip down memory lane to see what life was like in rural Ireland at the turn of the 20th century. Sligo Folk Park houses a large array of items of historic and sentimental value, ranging from horse drawn farm machinery to stationary engines and from box brownie cameras to vintage sewing machines, Visit the street of old shop fronts filled with goods from yesteryear, the Hands Exhibition, showing agricultural tasks and rural skills from the recent past, the School House with its blackboard and old desks and Millview House preserved just as it was when lived in, back in the 1800s. While you’re here visit our coffee shop, The Millstone Cafe. It’s open seven days during the summer season. If it's a nice day, the kids can play in the fairy garden or borrow some old-style toys from reception to play with in the children's play area (all toys are sanitised after each use).
