Croagh Patrick—often called the Reek—is a 764‑metre granite peak perched in County Mayo that has drawn pilgrims for more than a thousand years. The summit hosts a small church and a statue of Saint Patrick, and the last Sunday in July sees thousands of climbers—many barefoot—to celebrate Reek Sunday. Visitors can enjoy early‑morning sunrise views over Clew Bay, explore ancient stone tracks and experience the spiritual ambience of a mountain that is steeped in legend and Irish heritage.
