The old setting was originally used for drying the nuts produced in the area. It has been recently restaured and has four double rooms with private bathrooms and two appartments with bedrooms, kitchen and bathroom and a total capacity of 15 beds. The organic farm produce mainly hazelnut, chestnut, wild strawberry, oregano, saffran, and seasonal vegatables obtained by the application of biological production technology. In addition the farm has a playground for children, a picnic area, and ten stalls for movile campers. Besides, the farm has games such as pingpong, and bocce. The farm is located at SP 59/III (37° 46’ 41,61” N, 15° 07’ 31,66” E) between Fornazzo and Linguaglossa, on the side etnea mountain between Catania and Taormina, approximately 20 minutes from the coast, inserted in the Etna skilift area and hiking paths for trekking around the Etna and Nebrodi.
