The Garoch Bed & Breakfast lies right in the heart of the green Monferrato hills, known for the famous species of vines.Something interesting to know: A "garoch" is an antique instrument used in the wine cellar to extract a small portion of wine from the barrel. This allowed the winemaker to take measurements to follow the maturation of the wine. Gained out of an old farmhouse, who was built back in 1700, the Garoch is born as a desire of the Ugo family to transmit the tradition and hospitality of the old farmhouse families. It is made up of two elegant rooms, handy and comfortable, whose colours are inspired by the two famous local species of vines: moscato and brachetto. A delicious breakfast freshly prepared by the landlady using only typical and local products may be relish in a room near the main kitchen. Both the two rooms have an independent entrance to guarantee the maximum privacy. We are in a Thermal Area at only 5km from the centre of Acqui Terme.
