Agriturismo il Gelso is located in a typical farmhouse in a panoramic position in the Langa area, in the small township Croera, 300m from the center of La Morra, in the heart of the Langhe and its beautiful castles. For trekking enthusiasts is a convenient starting point for itineraries through the vineyardsthe 7 trails of La MorraThe name "Il Gelso" has an affective meaning for our family because it represents the symbol of a secular tree that has accompanied generations for the daily work that took place in the farmhouse courtyard. The Mulberry, especially between the late 800 and early 900, was used for feeding silkworms, a secondary economic entry after the cultivation of grapes, fruits and vegetables. Nowadays a mulberry in our garden is a testimony of this tradition. The Agriturismo il Gelso was founded in 1981 and was the first Agriturismo in the province of Cuneo, in fact we always were passionate about the hospitality and tourism, looking for share with people around the world our traditions and our food and wine.
