Le Luminarie is a cultural project that aims to enhance the local cultural heritage through the concepts of reuse and creative recycling. The sea view apartments are fully furnished and can comfortably accommodate up to 6 people and have an original style with a hint of vintage. Many of the pieces of furniture are handcrafted, unique pieces re-created by young local artisans. The apartments is located in a recently renovated nineteenth century building. "Le Luminarie" is a one-of-a-kind project: going beyond mass tourism, it is an opportunity for guests to experience something unforgettable. Come in one of our apartments and discover the art studios and exhibition center with their cultural and leisure offers! The apartments hace: -a modern fully furnished kitchen with sea view; -a living room with sea view and air conditioning, HD TV and a full size sofa-bed; -a large bathroom with bidet and hair dryer; -a comfortable master bedroom with a king size bed, a large armoire, a dresser and a strong-box; -a living room with a king-size sofa bed with pieces of furniture upcycled by local artisans; -a shared laundry with washer-dryer, iron, ironing board, drying area. Balestrate is a small town of about 6000 inhabitants, its location directly on the Sea offers optimal conditions for those who love to spend relaxing days on its golden beaches. The joyful atmosphere of the town is confirmed by the kindness of its inhabitants. Within the town there are excellent restaurants where you can enjoy typical Sicilian dishes. The town is also an important tourist hub: in addition to its golden beaches, in fact, from Balestrate is easy to access to wonderful places such as Castellammare del Golfo, Scopello, Zingaro Nature Reserve, San Vito lo Capo, Erice, Trapani, Aeolian Islands, Palermo, Monreale, Agrigento and Selinunte. Balestrate is at 30 km from the airport of Palermo Falcone e Borsellino Airport and 50 km from the Trapani low-cost airport. From the port of Palermo the distance is about 40 km. From both airports and the port of Palermo you can reach Balestrate via the A29 Palermo-Mazara del Vallo highway, exit at Balestrate. The building is in front of the railway station, you can move comfortably by train, especially towards Trapani or by bus to Palermo, Trapani and San Vito lo Capo.
