The restaurant-hotel “ Il Castagneto “ located in Amatrice (RI), one of the most popular and known tourist locations in Rieti ’ s province, from 40 years it offers to its gentle customers very good services as an hotel, in the absolute silence and tranquillity under lee of “ Monti della Laga” (Laga mountains) and as a restaurant with the famous “spaghetti all’amatriciana” (with or without tomatos) that became for fame and taste the national Italian kitchen course. Our typical and characteristic mountain structure (we are 955 meter over the see) is composed in 3 floors and completed with garden, solarium, car park and garage. The restaurant, very well cared in the internal furnishing where the wood (national walnut and Douglas) makes a very worm and comfortable atmosphere, the meals are typical of our town with a long list of specialities for what concern past, we have a lot more then just amatriciana, and also for meats that are all choosen around our mountains (lamb, pork, veal ecc. ecc.) and in particular for all our homemade cakes following the old home traditions. For everybody that wants to spend some relaxing days in an healthy environment, with an unsullied panorama and suggestive landscape just come to see us and you will leave impressed from the places beauty, from the mountains majesty and from the lake smily characterstics (Campotosto and Scandarello) and from numerous evidences of churches, palaces, monuments that make of Amatrice one of the most appreciated areas of our region.
