About

The Rocca di Offagna is a military structure built between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance, 309 metres above sea level. Today, the centuries-old rooms of the fortress open up to reveal to visitors the places where nobles and soldiers once defended the lands of Ancona from the city's enemies. Inside the Rocca there is a collection of ancient weapons from different historical periods. From the Rocca you can also admire a unique panorama of the typical hills of the Marche region, ranging from the Apennines to the Adriatic Sea.
