About

The Offagna fortress is a military construction dating back to the period between the Middle Ages and the Renaissance. Today, its centuries-old rooms open up to reveal the places where nobles and soldiers defended the lands of Ancona against the city's enemies. From the Rocca, you can admire a unique panorama of the typical hills of the Marche region ranging from the Apennines to the Adriatic Sea. A collection of ancient weapons is also preserved inside. All opening information and tickets are available on the official website of the Polo Museale di Offagna.
