Jora Mountain Dining
About
Jora Mountain Dining is an alpine haven perched at 1,325 m above sea level, offering a curated menu of regional South Tyrolean dishes crafted by chef Markus Holzer. The restaurant’s rustic yet warm ambience invites guests to savor seasonal ingredients sourced from nearby farms, while panoramic views of the San Candido and Sesto Dolomites make every meal an experience. Patrons can enjoy a casual lunch (11:30‑15:00) or a gourmet dinner on Thursdays and Saturdays (19:30‑22:30) – the latter featuring multi‑course “Pasta on the Rocks” and “Mountain Dining” evenings. A free shuttle from the Haunold chairlift brings guests directly to the hut, and a sun terrace provides al fresco dining moments with sweeping mountain vistas. When a unique celebration or quiet meal is desired, Jora Mountain Dining also offers private events and gift vouchers for culinary experiences.
