The farmhouse La Vrille is located on the Via Francigena at 670 mt above sea level. The farmhouse is surrounded by vineyards and it has a panoramic view of the mountain peaks Mont Avic and Mont Emilius. It is close to many famous tourist spots of the Aosta Valley. The 6 rooms were renovated by using ecological materials, recovering elements of the old hut of the '700 and precious furniture of Aosta Valley's tradition. In La Vrille you can find animals, a vegetable garden, two greenhouses and orchards. Based on the biodynamic philosophy, the owners cultivate fruits, vegetables and wines without the use of pesticides and with the aid of biological compounds for fertilization. In the small restaurant it is possible to taste the local food prepared according to some traditional recipes and with a creative touch of the chef. The menu follows the seasons and the ingredients come from the own farm and from carefully selected small local producers. Guests are welcome to visit the small winery built into the rock at a depth of 11 mt. Aperitifs and wine tasting are made on request for small groups. The wines La Vrille has been awarded in national and international guides and competitions.
